Tash

(They/them)

Hey all! My name is Tash (they/them). I’m a born-and-raised Washingtonian and have called Seattle home for about 11 years. I share my life with my wonderful partner Tru and our menagerie of furry and scaly pets. I’m a lover of all things nerdy (LotR, MtG, BG3, and dark fantasy are current obsessions), and I enjoy cooking, the outdoors, and video games.

I graduated in 2016 from Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA, where I explored many mediums—printmaking and painting remain my first loves. I quickly realized I was more drawn to the process of creation than the finished object, which eventually brought me back to tattooing.

For the past seven years, tattooing has been my craft and my home. My start was unconventional—I taught myself at 17, practicing on pig skin in my mom’s kitchen. For years I believed there was no place for me in this industry; I was laughed at and told I wouldn’t make it. After college, I knew tattooing was all I wanted to do, so I jumped back in headfirst. Seven years later, finding my place among the talented and kind artists at Dying Wish truly feels like a wish come true.

I’ve learned from world- and nationally-renowned artists, sought critique from those I admire, and drawn almost every day in pursuit of the level of artistry I aspire to. I take great pride in my work and treat no project as an afterthought.

My mission is to give clients a first-class tattoo experience paired with the utmost care for their well-being—to make them feel cared for, listened to, and respected.

My happy place is in Black and Gray work, but I also love Color tattooing and even the alchemy of combining them. I’m drawn to large-scale work, and subjects like ladyheads, animals, dark fantasy, and the occasional touch of whimsy. I hope to meet you soon :)
